Bio

Year at UC Davis: Senior

Major:  Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior

Why I chose to serve on COSAF:  I was hoping to expand my knowledge into the the budgeting and allocation of funds that impact the lives and careers of the students at UC Davis. Joining COSAF felt like the most hands on way to represent my community and provide insight as to how the school can adapt to the ever changing needs of students in the most transparent way.

Extra-curricular hobbies/ interests/ activities:  For the past two years, I have served as the President of Delta Gamma at UC Davis, which has lead me to have many meaningful leadership opportunities. I work two on-campus jobs outside of COSAF, including being a Building Supervisor at the ARC, and a student EMT at the UC Davis Fire Department. Outside of my jobs on campus, I like to improve my academic career by volunteering as a Research Assistant in the Smith Lab, MyoMatrix, where I help in researching the cellular components behind neuro-muscular diseases. In my free time, I enjoy baking and cooking for my housemates and friends, hitting the weights at the ARC, and doing day trips to Lake Tahoe, Apple Hill and Berkeley.
