Why I chose to serve on COSAF: I chose to serve on COSAF because I wanted to grow more actively involved in the Davis community, while also gaining the opportunity to challenge and improve myself. Since arriving at Davis I knew I wanted to make the most of my experience by actively involving myself in campus operations. Once I grew more involved, I reflected and soon recognized that my next goal would be to utilize my experiences to help create positive change in my community. I believe serving as a member of COSAF will give me a platform to bring a positive impact to the Davis student body. Additionally, I believe that as a member of the COSAF team, I will play a role in difficult discussions that will challenge my perspective and way of thinking. From this experience I hope to grow more open-minded and more welcoming of new ideas.

Extra-curricular hobbies/ interests/ activities: In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, working out, drinking coffee, and playing sports. As a former athlete and a student planning to pursue a career in medicine, I’m very interested in the field of sports medicine. I’m currently a student intern for the UC Davis Sports Medicine Internship Program where I work directly with our school’s athletes and their supporting health care professionals. Additionally, I’m a student manager at the UC Davis Campus Bookstore, so if you ever find yourself there, feel free to come by and say hi to me at the Guest Services desk!
